Entropy

Entropy is the first computer I ever owned, kinda. It was a gift from my parents for high school graduation. The machine has kept the same functionality and name, but the hardware has changed significantly since then. In fact, the only part that remains from the original entropy is the floppy drive.

Because of its history, entropy is the only of my computers that is not named for a character from The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Namesake:

According to m-w.com, entropy is "a process of degradation or running down or a trend to disorder." Entropy is the only machine I use that runs Windows.
