Friday night and last night, Mel and I hung out with her IMSA friends. They have a fun event where they rent really bad movies and mock them MST3K-style. The peak of the event came with the viewing of Zardoz, a particularly bad film with the opening line "The gun is good; The penis is evil." Combine that with Sean Connery (and his chest hair) running around in a red diaper for 100 minutes, and you have some pretty good material for heckling.

Along with the fun of movie-mocking, I was subjected to the scrutiny of Mel's friends. The IMSA clan is protective of each other, but I seem to have passed their tests. And Mel was worried that I might not get along with a bunch of nerds...
