I've been re-playing Chrono Trigger lately, first to get Ayla up to level 99 to see "THE 9999 damage point strike," then to see all of the game's different endings, and then again to get Magus back in the party.
In fact, I just started another "New Game +" and got the most difficult ending, just to get the name of Ayla's attack correct. And on a whim, I just confirmed that it's possible to die in that ending, so I ended up losing after I beat the final boss.
For whatever reason, I've been waking up before my alarm for the past few weeks, so I've been going to work early, which is weird for me. I've been getting a lot of work done, but with all the surprises as of late, it's hard to keep up. Yesterday, a circuit breaker tripped in the backup datacenter and took a rack of machines offline. That kinda ruined my morning.
And apparently that's not enough, since I spent a good bit of time last night arguing on the internet about a new feature in Gentoo's package manager that I felt was insufficiently planned for.
This weekend might be a good escape from the overly-technical/nerdy side of things, but I'll wait to talk about that until there's video.
