Instructor: "So in this drill, the coach will feed in an easy floater to simulate Team A popping up a volley. Team B will step in and hit an attacking shot while Team A runs back to the baseline to try and create some space and time."

Tim (to me): "You can't create space and time."

That's what I get for playing tennis with a physics grad student.
