ck's archive: kids these days

As I sat waiting for my bread bowl of soup at Za's today, I couldn't help but overhear a group of high school guys standing near by:

#1: "How much time have you spent playing World of Warcraft?"

#2: "I've got a little over 30 days of play time."

#1: "Really?"

#2: "Yeah, spread over two years."

#1: "Wow, you're kind of a loser. I haven't spent that much time on anything except for Pokemon."

Of course, I've played a bit over 50 hours of Final Fantasy XII in the past two weeks, so I really don't have any high ground on either of them.
