ck's archive: the calm before the storm

Aah, back at home for a brief respite between summer work and the school year. I could get used to sitting around and doing nothing all day. I was thinking lately about what our generation will be like when we're elderly. I'm envisioning constant lanparties at the old folks' home. Of course, by then, the 'LAN' paradigm will be obsolete, but we'll figure it out.

In the not-so-distant future, though, I'm looking forward to Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, which is scheduled to open on august 22^nd. I'll have to find someone to drive me to the theatre, as I'll have no car on campus, but it shouldn't be tough to find a Kevin Smith fan somewhere at UIUC.
