I found out this afternoon that my cat (Max) is a big They Might Be Giants fan. Usually, when I get up, I go to the bathroom and see him lying on my parents' bed, relaxing (as cats often do), and I either go back to my room to read, or go downstairs to compute. In either case, he stays on the bed. But today, there was packing to do, so I turned on my stereo, and Mink Car happened to be in the changer. I closed the door, since different music was playing downstairs and promptly heard scratching at the door. I opened the door, and Max jumped up onto the desk and demanded petting. Given that the music was the only substantial difference from my usual routine, in which he lays on my parents' bed, it's obvious that Max is a big fan of the Giants and thus even cooler than I'd thought!
The labs are supposed to open in a little under 12 hours. I suppose I should move back this morning and do that.
