Marvin's motherboard and/or PCI hard disk controller died on Sunday. After about ten hours of testing and rebuilding, I gave up on it and hooked marvin's disks up to zem. Here's a picture of what Mel has to put up with in the datacenter:
Once I got that fixed, ford started overheating due to some frozen bearings in its blower. Computers are hard.
At work, I've decided to hate Module::Build. It seems that someone thought the tried and true process of building perl modules was too Unix-y, so they came up with a newer and "better" process that doesn't work very well in Unix.
Oh, and go Sox. Juan Uribe deserves loads of credit for the last two outs of the game. Not that Bobby Hill Jenks made it easy for the batters, but I was really amazed at Uribe's grandstand-diving and charge-grab-throwing to finish the game.
