FF7: Weapons No More (2 comments)

Last night saw the end of the Emerald and Ruby Weapons along with the welcome of Hadrch to my chocobo stable. For the very few people interested (read: Pat), this is what I came up with to blow away the Ruby Weapon without trying:

Master Summon/HP Absorb, Master Summon/MP Absorb, Knights of Round/MP Turbo, Hades/MP Turbo

Phoenix/Final Attack, HP Plus/Master Command, Magic Plus/Magic Plus

The rest of the party doesn't matter. If you care, Mime will speed things up a bit (and save you some menu browsing if it gets all the way back around), and Big Guard or Wall is always nice, but that one character can repeatedly W-Summon Hades and Knights of Round forever. Each time the Knights do their thing, the summoner will get way more HP and MP than they can hold, and if they die, they come back with full health. The only possible way to lose is to run out of MP, but with ~1300 coming back from each Knights of Round summon, that's really hard to do.

I might outfit Cloud like that and have him take on Jenova and Sephiroth alone.
