ck's archive: no ff7 on my pc

I found my PC copy of Final Fantasy VII a few weeks ago. Remembering that I've kept my saved games over a disturbing number hardware failures, formats, and Windows reinstallations on entropy, I thought it might be fun to reinstall it and play with all the fun stuff that I earned through hours of hard work eight years ago. Unfortunately, it doesn't work in Windows XP. The installer simply exits when the "install" option is selected, even when running in Win95 compatibility mode. It looks like I'll have to play through my Playstation copy to once again see Knights of Round and (my favorite summon) Bahamut "nuke 'em from orbit it's the only way to be sure" Zero.

After that, I've promised Mel we can play Psychonauts.
