Champaign is currently very wet. The remnants of hurricane Dennis have made their way to Central Illinois, and they're not expected to leave for a few days. My lawn was already shaggy from a weekend spent in Chicago, so I'm a bit afraid of the job that will await me when the rain stops.

While I was walking across the quad tonight, I saw something scrawled in pink chalk under two inches of water:

Liberalism = Moral Anarchy

I thought about it and I've decided that I agree with the statement. "Moral anarchy" sounds great to me: I think morality is necessarily something that varies from person to person. The scary prospect is a world where morality is dictated. I guess it's a good chalking, even if I took it the wrong way.
