Bachelor Julia (3 comments)
Mel and I went to Julia's graduation on Sunday. The greater South Bend municipality isn't nearly as pretty as Rudy had led me to believe, but Bethel's campus was nicely tucked away in a wooded area hidden behind the McDonald's. I parked under a tree, found the gym, and watched my sister get a pair of diplomas. That gives her twice as many degrees as I have, and she's not yet finished.
Pat called me during the graduation ceremony's opening prayer. Fortunately, I'd put my phone into "manner mode," so I just got a buzz on my hip.
Speaking of, congratulations to Pat on his new job and life in Seattle. I'm guessing it won't be a big change since he spends most of his time exploring the World of Warcraft with his girl. Spatial locality isn't important to that.
I've instructed Firefox to use A9 as my default search engine, bringing an end to google's historic reign. That's not entirely accurate, since A9 gives me google results (along side some other cool things), but that's less important than amazon's π/2% off reward for using A9 while logged into amazon. Now I have even more reason to buy everything there.
