Break has started. Modems suck. But for the first time that I can remember, I finished all my Christmas shopping before I moved home from school. I feel so industrious.
I slept for seventeen hours last night/today. Not because I was tired, but just because it felt so beautiful to lay in bed relaxing with no responsibility. Somewhat related, I had a dream where I was playing Unreal Tournament using the top of a Heineken bottle as a controller and John Marriott was whoopin' me.
I hope to get some reading done over break. Right now, I'm working on Vernor Vinge's A Fire Upon the Deep, with the rest of the Ender's Game series and whatever books I get for Christmas. Given that I have an annoying habit of buying whatever it is I want, I had trouble putting together a list for my parents, so it ended up being mostly books recommended by amazon.
