I keep imagining the end of Braveheart, where William Wallace, all his strength gone, uses his last few breaths to scream one word, giving the audience goosebumps. I feel bad comparing that to my situation, though, since I'll be alive tomorrow, and free as ever. Needless to say, all my schoolwork is done. As of the electronic handin of my Math 361 final project at 7:00 this morning, I was liberated from the tyranny that is finals week.
OK Go played a good show at The Canopy last night. I was particularly impressed by their cover of TMBG's Kiss Me, Son of God, which we heard when they opened for said Giants. Tree sold the letter she got from the band to the lead singer for a Heineken. The letter, which she received with her CD order, will be scanned and published on their official website (and she'll get the original back). I know a celebrity!
