Housework (3 comments)
Though we spent most of the weekend in San Andreas, Mel and I managed to get out of the house long enough to visit a baby and stop by Lowes for some new lighting and plumbing. I learned that track lighting is ridiculously easy to install and Mel got a chance to do some plumbing work with the installation of a new shower head. The result is that we can read on the couch and take more comfortable showers.
We also learned last week that running the refrigerator, microwave, and toaster at the same time is enough to trip the breaker for the kitchen/datacenter circuit. Oh, and the computers. It seems it's time for me to install a new circuit for the datacenter, since the "dining room" wasn't expected to have a notable power draw. Conveniently, Mel noticed that DIYNet is airing a show this week that teaches how to install an additional circuit. The TiVo has been notified.
The search for the new Illini football head coach closes today. I'm wondering how long it'll be until I get a response.
