I bought a Mandy Moore movie. I saw Saved! when I was hanging out at Tree's. It reminded me too much of my Sister's storied roommates for me to allow her to go without seeing it and Best Buy had the DVD.
I've done a good bit of driving this week. My travels have so far taken me from champaign through Wheaton, Lombard, Bartlett, and Glen Ellyn to East Peoria. I still can't tell the suburbs apart, and I'm having trouble figuring out why each one maintains a web presence.
Wednesday's snow was fun, though aggravating. It turns out my new tires are phenomenally adept at cutting through slush to grip the road surface. I tried to slide my car around in an abandoned parking lot and all it did was turn! It takes a lot more work to do donuts now.
The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign fired its head football coach last Monday. In response, I've decided to write up a résumé. In considering my relevant experience, I realized that all of my head coaching experience has been at the NFL level. I noticed that Fry's had NCAA Football 2K3 on sale for $9.95, so I bought it. I'm going to try and take the Illini to the national championship in time to put the experience on my résumé alongside my Madden and NFL Bliz accomplishments.
