TV Poker (5 comments)
I just got back from LISA's "Galactic Casino" where I followed my trend of being good at poker when there's no real money involved. I played more tightly than usual, since looking back on past games leads me to believe that most of my mistakes come from playing hands that I shouldn't have. In tonight's TV poker, I started at fake $10,000, quickly dropped to fake $1,400, and ended the night at fake $28,200. When gaming was cut off, the fake money was exchanged for real raffle tickets. The conversion was $tickets = ceiling($money/10000) so I got three tickets. Along with the ticket Mike gave me when he left early, that gave me four non-winning tickets. Yay!
There's a "Birds of a Feather" talk later about the Howard Dean campaign. I'll probably stop by and listen to people talk about how awesome liberals are.
