Bienvenidos al Noviembre. Hoy es el Día de Los Muertos.

It's been a while since I've typed Spanish. Anyway, it's November, and the weather sucks. Today is The Day of The Dead, given that yesterday was Haloween. Tomorrow is, of course, the most important day of our lives, what with the most important lunch of our lives, the most important vote of our lives, and the most important TV watching of our lives followed up by the most important drinking of our lives (champagne or vodka, depending on how things are swinging). That's right, tomorrow is the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of a modulo 4 year and thus election day. I'm expecting the drama will last until I'm in Atlanta for LISA before we can finally get over tomorrow's importance.

Barack Obama is finishing up his campaign tour in Champaign tonight. I may well head to the quad at 19:00 to listen.

Rick updated The Very Nice Glass Bowl Page. It's long overdue that the glass bowl be awarded an entry on the links page.

The biggest pre-election drama so far today has been the revealing of the votemaster's identity on electoral-vote.com. I've looked through that site nearly every day for the past month, but it never occurred to me to wonder who was running it. Now that I know, I approve, since his is one of the few textbooks I found worth keeping and didn't sell back.
