I left work at 4:00 today to allow myself time to get to the Champaign County Courthouse by 5:00. After walking to my car, stopping by the ATM at the Union and parking, I found myself walking up to the courthouse doors at 4:28. Noticing the knife in my pocket and thinking I had plenty of time, I went back to my car so I could enter unarmed. When I got back at 4:31, the doors were locked. A woman seated nearby informed me that the courthouse closes at 4:30. This information is not posted anywhere near the courthouse doors, and it seems a bit arbitrary and unexpected, so I'm whining.
I got some new shoes yesterday. My current pair has worn down such that there is no rubber left on the ball of my left foot to separate the insole from the ground. It's not entirely surprising, given that the blog entry about their acquisition is sixteen months old today.
Is it weird that I keep track of my life with my archive?
