On with the job hunt! Matt, the most technically-adept member of the campus network security team, has taken a job on the east coast. That means that CITES is probably going to be looking for a replacement. I'm still on good terms with the group, having helped out with interviews and data-gathering, and I've been bugging Matt to put in a good word for me with his boss, who will probably be leading the search committee. Matt used to do Special Projects work for Housing, and he and I shared an office at the time, so he has a reasonable idea of my ability to do his job. The hunt goes on...
Mel and I lunched at Hardee's last week, and I was surprised at their new menu. There's more beef than ever before. I support the addition of more beef and if Hardee's wishes to make me a paid spokesperson, I would take their money.
Now, to finally write a check and send off my taxes.
