I had trouble sleeping last night. I was a bit excited about the interview I had in store this morning. I got up extra early, took a shower, shaved, put on my suit, and dropped my girl off at work before heading over to Beckman for my interview with BISS. As I drove up Neil from Kirby to University, I found a strange backup of traffic at the Neil and Green intersection. There was an empty car sitting in the left northbound lane with its emergency blinkers on. There was a police car sitting behind it, and I wondered why anyone would leave their car abandoned in the street like that.
When I got to my interview, the three interviewers who greeted me told me that Christine, who I'd be working for were I chosen, was involved in a fender bender and wouldn't be participating in the interview. I was a bit disappointed in that turn of events, since Christine is pretty familiar with my work at Housing. it didn't end up being a big deal. I had fun converstation with the rest of the committee about my qualifications. I thought the entire ordeal went pretty well, but I'll have to wait and see how I compared to the other applicants.
Also, there are pictures of my car in the photo gallery. Now everyone can decide for themselves if they think the wing is atrocious. I no longer have a problem with it since I saw on my Chicago trip that I was getting the advertised EPA highway mileage. If it's not hurting my mileage, it can't be that bad, right?
