I finally got on the phone with Matt the Subaru salesman. In addition to scheduling a test drive for some time Saturday, I learned of a new trade-in that showed up. They have a used 2002 WRX with a short throw shifter and low mileage for ~$3000 less than a new one. But the owner installed his own aftermarket spoiler on it. I have fears that it's a huge wing, not something I'd want to drive. I am not, after all, a rice boy. Were I to ever modify a car, I promise you, my electronic readers, that it would be designed to repair a problem or increase performance. big stereos and mods that just look cool (and often hurt performance) aren't my bag, baby.
Aaron's weblog details his vain struggle for Dave Matthews Band tickets. I want to go to the concert, but as a non-student, I wasn't able to get a spot in the lottery. now we're stuck fighting the public for seats. At least They Might Be Giants are coming to town next week.
