Mel bought a deep fryer from a lady at work last Friday. The woman had registered for it as a wedding present and received two of them, so she sold one of them to Mel at a discount. Last night, I was treated to the best frozen taquitos ever (at least better than pan-fried). As soon as we find some bread crumbs, the fryer will get some more use.
I'd like to send a big "thank you" out to David Lynch for reminding me that temporal continuity is a handy thing to have. Aaron brought over Mulholland Dr. last night and we watched it. Only at the end did I figure out that the scenes weren't necessarily shown in order of occurrence. Strangely, that revelation didn't do much to make sense of the story. I think I have a pretty good handle on what happened, but I'd need to watch it again to be sure.
