Emergency (3 comments)

Naturally, the first thing I did when I woke up this afternoon was to check my email. But I couldn't get to eddie. Thinking my pretty new machine was broken, I walked over to my office. on the walk over, Mel commented that Garner Hall had a fan in every window, and it would be logical for Housing to provide box fans if they're not going to provide air conditioning. I thought it odd that none of the fans were turned on, but didn't connect it. Then I got into my office, and noted that only the machines on emergency power were running. Eddie wasn't important enough for emergency power, so it didn't get any. It was powered off. I called Rick to see what was up and he told me about the outage at our local power plant this morning. With his permission, I moved eddie over to emergency power, so I can once again get my email and share my ramblings with the internet.

I finished GTA 3 last night. I was most pleased with the ending. Looking at Amazon, the sequel (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City) is the best selling Playstation 2 game, so I'm not the only one awaiting its october 24th release.
