...sorta. I have a part-time job writing PHP/MySQL stuff for Unified Consulting out in California. Since it's webtrash work, I can telecommute for all of it. So this school year, I'll have two part time jobs. It should be enough to pay the bills, but I'm still open to suggestions for full time jobs with benefits.
I'm in East Peoria this weekend, home for family portraits. It's nice to hang around here and be distracted from the constant "I want to play with all the new hardware I bought" feelings of anticipation I have for the new eddie.
Mel celebrated her birthday thursday by getting baited and switched by an evil temp agency, then trouncing her Krannert friends, Tree, and me in trivia at BW3. I gave her a ring for her birthday, which quite a few people have interpreted as a proposal. Maybe later.
Val also had a birthday last week. The phonebook says that it was the 30th, and that he's the only "Valmiki" at UIUC. Merry birthday, Val.
