Box/Deer Hunting at Wal-Mart (1 comment)

Mel ran out of boxes to use for packing last night, so we headed to the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Savoy around restocking time (midnight) to get some more. While there, I found a fun game involving a plastic shotgun and deer running around the screen. I played a few times and did ok, but I felt cheated because the gun was pretty poorly calibrated to the screen. I never liked the deer hunter PC games, but making it a fast-paced arcade game is just weird enough to get 50¢ from me. Of course, unlike real hunting, the game encourages the user to shoot early and often.

Work is getting interesting. RealOne refuses to work unless an admin manually logs in and breaks the registry. Fuck RealNetworks. They consistently make my job difficult by releasing the most viral, poorly designed applications on the market. In contrast, gVim installed perfectly. I love gVim.
