I'm Oppressed (1 comment)

Last night, using my status as an honorary brown man, I joined some of my indian friends in their "brown out." I got to enjoy Indian cuisine (fingerfood!). After, we went to see Men in Black II, a movie about the oppression of foreigners (at least, that's how the brown folk saw it). It was funny -- exactly what the sequel to Men in Black should have been. It featured an animated short before the movie, much like the Powerpuff Girls movie, except that this one wasn't Dexter's Laboratory. Rather, it was a cute computer-generated short that screamed of copyright violations and lawsuits from George Lucas.

I found an issue with the lab machine setup I'm developing at work today. If someone logs in with their housing staff account before a lab machine is rebuilt, it will break the machine forever (or at least until there's some registry editing done). Two people did that to my test machine today. It's rebuilding... again, and I have time to update this before I have to go back to work, testing the new packages I put out for auto-install.
