Mozilla 1.0 (0 comments)
Mozilla 1.0 was released yesterday. For anyone not in the know, Mozilla is an open-source web browser that has come to rival even the mighty Internet Explorer in capability and speed. In an ideal world, this would spell doom for Netscape 4.x, but alas, people still use it. But Mozilla's demos page has me thinking that it's about time I put theme support on my website so users can optionally do cool CSS stuff or at least choose a different set of graphics for the page. I'll see if I'm still excited about themes and javascript settings after I get eddie in production.
Along the same lines, eddie is now set up correctly to run my website. I have some cooling supplies on order from 2cooltek that should make me feel better about running two hot processors in such a small case. After the hardware's happy, I just need to get postfix set up to handle my email, and I'll be able to retire zaphod.
