So I was walking home from work yesterday, on my way to DQ to quench the hankerin' I had for a georgia mud fudge blizzard (and damn was it good!) when I saw an SUV trying to parallel park in a space that had a car on either side of it. The driver, obviously unaware of how one would go about parallel parking correctly, pulled in forward, and went back and forth a bit before giving up with her vehicle in the spot at an angle. I couldn't help but think to myself "what a horrible example of parking." then, as I walked closer, I was able to see the side of the vehicle:

John tipped me off that The Red Hot Valentines were playing a show at the high dive tonight. They put on a good show (especially the moog player -- he's a funny guy). They're a local band, so lots of people reading this would have no idea who they are, but for just you people, they have some free songs for download at mp3.com.
