ck's archive: episode 2

I've driven ~300 miles in the past 12 hours, from East Peoria to Champaign to Hoopeston, to Champaign, to East Peoria. Et was fun. Of course, the point of the excursion was to see Episode 2 at The Lorraine and spend some time with Mel. The Lorraine's sound lived up to its reputation, and the movie was plenty entertaining, though slow and drawn-out at times. Among the highlights: it's revealed that the audience isn't the only one angry with Jar-Jar, and Yoda is a badass. Jar-Jar's screentime is significantly decreased, and the new CG characters are much better than he.

A big "w00t" goes out to Tree. If the rumors are correct, she got her perfect job. Yay!
