ck's archive: clay half-courts

A few months ago, the clay courts at the corner of Springfield and Wright were half-covered in gravel. At the end of last week, they officially became a temporary parking lot.

The sign remains, as do the net posts and sprinklers. There is still a lock on the gate, even though a section of the fence was removed to allow cars to enter and exit. It's a strange state, and I wonder what's planned for the space. "Not tennis" seems like a pretty safe bet.
