ck's archive: early weekend

I realized early this morning, as I was finishing up Xenocide, that I was already in my weekend. I don't go to my Thursday classes, since one is reviewing other courses and the other is software engineering (let's talk about buzzwords!). The engineering open house is Friday and Saturday, so my Friday classes are cancelled. That means that I'm in weekend mode right now, and it's beautiful.

A loyal reader pointed out in a comment to my previous update that Mel's symptoms could easily be pneumonia, rather than the bronchitis that McKinley had diagnosed. Luckily, it seems they're treated similarly, so the drugs they gave her should still help.
