UNIX on Chuck (0 comments)

It's come to the point where I'm the one who says "It's a UNIX system; I know this!" This time, it's an episode of Chuck getting my attention:
It's somewhat confusing, as it looks like some research or consulting was done, but things got mangled somewhere along the way. /usr/local/bin/chmod a+rw <filename> might have made sense, but it wouldn't drop the user into another shell, and I wouldn't expect ls to spawn yet another shell. Still, it's fun to see what looks to be GNOME and Enlightenment used for the mock-up, even more so because it looks like the evil spy desktop is populated with a GTK+ theme manager and a few different media players.
