I took advantage of the beautiful weather on Friday to take some photos around town. There are plenty of sights that I've long wanted to document but never got around to actually photographing. Now that I have a new camera, I decided it was finally time to take those photos and maybe even learn a little bit about how to use a polarizing filter.

First off, the intersection of Church and State in Champaign:

Next on the list was a turn lane on Green Street with a deceptively-placed "One Way" sign:

On the way to my next oddity, I found a neat view over the Natural History Building:

...and I was shortly reminded that it was homecoming weekend:

Then I hit my third planned stop. There was once a parking lot where the building on the right now stands. The building on the left isn't ready to say goodbye:
