I just finished a CS 329 exam. The TAs warned the professor that they had a hard time finishing it in the allotted 75 minutes, but he refused to change it. Tree and I finished in 34 and 31 minutes, respectively. I don't know how it could take much longer than that, since there's no material covered in the class. It's just buzzwords and their definitions.
Obviously, I see the class as a waste of my time. It looked good on paper, satisfying a bunch of requirements with course material that might be interesting. But if those requirements weren't there, I'd be next door in CS 338, going to class every tuesday and thursday, and learning about Networking. Fuck being "well-rounded." I want useful knowledge.
