I got back into Champaign last night, and Mel and Tree and I decided to grab some thai for dinner before Tree and I had to do our CS 318 homework. But Home of Gourmet was closed! Oh no! We had to settle for subway. Yummy.
But through all that, and the course of the night, I got to hear all about Mel and Tree's weekend of fun. after Mel had dinner with my family on Friday, she went with Tree's crew to see an Irish punk band, and almost died a few times driving around. Then they got kicked out of their friend's apartment by his landlord, had a car towed, and finally made it back to Champaign, where Mel's longtime boyfriend was waiting to try and win back her heart. And that was just saturday. I missed all that, but it's ok. it all worked out.
Wow, we're getting quite a bit of snow right now. I'd estimate it's at least 20-30 Tubbs (Tubbs being a measure of snowflakes passing through a cubic meter of air in a second, named after Aaron).
