ck's archive: i have boots

With my latest weight loss came my first pair of non-loose- or baggy-fit jeans in... a really long time. They're boot cut and fit nicely.

With the past week's freezing rain, I've noticed that my shoes are all nicely worn down. The flat rubber soles are great on pavement, but on ice, they're a liability.

Tired of sliding around and watching my trousers crumple awkwardly on my shoes, I made the natural decision to get some boots. Woz was happy to tell me about the Eccos she bought when she was visiting us over Thanksgiving and convinced me that they're worth the money. Now I have a pair of my own. Time will tell whether they prove themselves recommendable.

Speaking of, I've been using my Silblades for four years and four months (and 612 weblog posts) and they're still working beautifully.
